Digital Lab Sensor Display by Hendra Kusumah

In this community project, developer Hendra Kusumah demonstrates how Sensirion’s SHT40 temperature and humidity sensor can be used to build a fully offline, wireless lab monitoring system. Using two ESP32 boards and ESP-NOW communication, the project transmits real-time climate data from the SHT40 sensor to a remote LED matrix display. The entire system works without Wi-Fi, cloud connectivity, or network infrastructure.

The result is a robust and easy-to-implement solution for classrooms, labs, and isolated environments where reliability and simplicity matter. This user-generated project highlights how Sensirion sensors integrate seamlessly into embedded designs that combine accurate environmental sensing with low-latency wireless communication and clear visual feedback.
