In the Spotlight: MikroElektronika
MikroElektronika produces whole-development toolchains for all major microcontroller architectures, and offers a wide range of development boards for interfacing microcontrollers with peripheral sensors or transceivers. They provide software and hardware tools for the development of embedded systems and services to help create and navigate projects with ease. Whether you are an experienced engineer, student, beginner or enthusiast, it has all the tools necessary for you to realize your ideas. MikroElektronika is also the inventor of the Click boards™ and mikroBus™ add-on standard, which optimize the ratio of supported peripherals to required pins, enabling developers to build and reconfigure hardware setups within seconds and without soldering. There are already more than 1000 Click boards™ available for your next project.
Sensirion and MikroElektronika

Sensirion’s leading position in offering a broad product portfolio of innovative sensor solutions matches perfectly with the vision of MikroElektronika, the designer of premium products which help customers test concepts in a short time.
MikroElektronika founder and CEO Nebojsa Matic on the collaboration between Sensirion and MikroElektronika: “We have been using Sensirion parts from the introduction of our first add-on boards and the idea of enabling customers to carry out assessments quickly and easily, as well as in the development of various environmental applications. Promoting their quality and leading sensor technology was our task, while the goal was to bring easy-to-use tools to our mutual customers.”
As a manufacturer of environmental and flow sensors, Sensirion’s goal is to provide high-quality sensor solutions for a wide range of applications. Along with our sensor portfolio, the partnership with MikroElektronika brings us closer to the maker community and helps our customers reduce development effort and accelerate time to market. While our evaluation kits enable fast and easy testing of our products, the collaboration with MikroElektronika offers a way to get closer to product ideas by building proof-of-concept prototypes. Their add-on boards product line, also known as Click boards™, features a large number of Sensirion’s sensors, designed to assist experimentation in different applications.
MikroElektronika Products

The Environment 2 Click is a compact add-on board containing our best-in-class SHT40 humidity sensor and SGP40 VOC sensor. The SHT40 sensor offers linearized digital output, provides constant temperature accuracy, up to 0.1°C, while the SGP40, a digital gas sensor, features a temperature-controlled micro hot-plate providing a humidity-compensated VOC-based indoor air quality signal.

HVAC Click is a compact add-on board that contains our next-generation miniature SCD41 CO2 sensor. This is a carbon dioxide sensor build on the photoacoustic sensing principle, and Sensirion’s patented PASens® and CMOSens® technology to offer high accuracy at a minor form factor. With the additional connection to our SPS30 particulate matter sensor, the board also allows you to upgrade your indoor air quality monitoring project.

Temp&Hum 15 Click is a compact add-on board that contains our SHT40 humidity sensor. The fully calibrated sensor offers linearized digital output, NIST traceability, and I2C Fast Mode Plus. It is reflow solderable and operational in condensing environments. This Click board™ is an ideal solution to be used in various temperature and humidity-related applications.

CO2 Click is a compact add-on board that contains Sensirion’s miniature CO2 sensor. This board features the STC31, a gas concentration sensor designed for high-volume applications. The STC31 utilizes a revolutionized thermal conductivity measurement principle, which results in superior repeatability and long-term stability.
MikroElektronika Highlight
With Planet Debug MikroElektronika provides PC independent hardware embedded remote programming / debugging with live streaming. You can now program and debug remotely, online from any place in the world. You are no longer limited by the hardware you have on your desk. MikroElektronika’s NECTO Studio integrated development environment (IDE), combined with our WiFi-enabled CODEGRIP debugger, facilitates real-time streaming that allows you to see your board working in real-time.
How does it work?
Mikroe 8th generation boards and programmers feature the world’s first wifi debugger – codegrip. With codegrip and camera streaming in NECTO Studio software, you can see the board you work on in real-time. Start your project even before you receive your hardware.
